What is so good about this product?
You might not pay for gas again once your car is converted to the plug-in electric car designed by this ebook. It might cost you only $6 extra for the monthly electricity bill to charge your car.

I got dubious when I saw the ad saying, “For only a few hundred dollars, you will have an electric car”. When you go to ebay and look for used cars converted to electric vehicles, they usually charge you several thousand dollars. I’m also a member of forums and blogs about hybrid and electric vehicles. There are many mechanics and engineers posting their comments about the high cost of converting to an electric car. I thought Electricity4Gas manual was too good to be true. Anyway, I gave a shot at it.

How an Electric Vehicle Works:
1. You plug an electric cord into your converted car from an electric outlet in your garage.

2. The charge time of a sealed lead-acid battery is approximately 12 hours for a full charge.

Technical Issues:
1. The author wrote the manual as easy as possible, but honestly it was still technical for me. I strongly suggest you to work with an auto mechanic or your friend who has knowledge about a car. The most laborious part of the conversion process was at the beginning, which was removing the combustion engine. My mechanic knew exactly where and how to remove the parts. He also helped me to assemble batteries and other parts of the conversion kit on my car.

2. The manual strongly suggests finding a car that has a manual transmission because automatic transmissions cause energy losses that reduce driving performance.

3. You will definitely need to weld battery holders and other parts. You will deal with hot metal. You could ask someone you know with welding experience to help, or you could hire a professional to do it for you.

Speed Issue:
Depending on the weight of vehicle and a suitable motor installed, it is possible to get to around 70 mph. However, the driving range will be reduced because of the increased amperage being drawn from the batteries and motor.
