The most laborious part of the conversion process was at the beginning, which was removing the combustion engine. My mechanic knew exactly where and how to remove the parts. He also helped me to assemble batteries and other parts of the conversion kit on my car.

2. The manual strongly suggests finding a car that has a manual transmission because automatic transmissions cause energy losses that reduce driving performance.

3. You will definitely need to weld battery holders and other parts. You will deal with hot metal. You could ask someone you know with welding experience to help, or you could hire a professional to do it for you.

Speed Issue:
Depending on the weight of vehicle and a suitable motor installed, it is possible to get to around 70 mph. However, the driving range will be reduced because of the increased amperage being drawn from the batteries and motor.
