You might not pay for gas again once your car is converted to the plug-in electric car designed by this ebook. It might cost you only $6 extra for the monthly electricity bill to charge your car.

I got dubious when I saw the ad saying, “For only a few hundred dollars, you will have an electric car”. When you go to ebay and look for used cars converted to electric vehicles, they usually charge you several thousand dollars. I’m also a member of forums and blogs about hybrid and electric vehicles. There are many mechanics and engineers posting their comments about the high cost of converting to an electric car. I thought Electricity4Gas manual was too good to be true. Anyway, I gave a shot at it.

I was amazed to learn you could really assemble it within $400 with this manual. The manual will tell you where to get batteries, motors and other parts for free.

Table of Contents (61-Page PDF):
Introduction: Electric car benefits, electrical terminology, tools & parts needed

Chapter 1: Finding a vehicle to convert

Chapter 2: Information about DC & AC electric motors

Chapter 3: Information about DC & AC motor controllers

Chapter 4: Information about batteries, how to obtain them

Chapter 5: A closer look at the various parts involved with your electric vehicle conversion

Chapter 6: Getting started with your electric vehicle conversion. Includes removing wires, removing unneeded parts, installing the motor/transmission

Chapter 7: Further steps involved in your electric vehicle conversion. Includes installing batteries and installing other vehicle parts.

Chapter 8: Final checks to make and steps to take, starting up your electric car for the first time

Chapter 9: Helpful resources

How an Electric Vehicle Works:
1. You plug an electric cord into your converted car from an electric outlet in your garage.

2. The charge time of a sealed lead-acid battery is approximately 12 hours for a full charge.

Benefits of Electric Car:
1. You will receive information on how to obtain batteries and other parts for free.

2. You might be able to save hundreds of dollars a year on maintenance costs. You might not have problems like oil leaks and exhaust system breakdown associated with a gasoline car.

Technical Issues:
1. The author wrote the manual as easy as possible, but honestly it was still technical for me. I strongly suggest you to work with an auto mechanic or your friend who has knowledge about a car. The most laborious part of the conversion process was at the beginning, which was removing the combustion engine. My mechanic knew exactly where and how to remove the parts. He also helped me to assemble batteries and other parts of the conversion kit on my car.

2. The manual strongly suggests finding a car that has a manual transmission because automatic transmissions cause energy losses that reduce driving performance.

3. You will definitely need to weld battery holders and other parts. You will deal with hot metal. You could ask someone you know with welding experience to help, or you could hire a professional to do it for you.

Speed Issue:
Depending on the weight of vehicle and a suitable motor installed, it is possible to get to around 70 mph. However, the driving range will be reduced because of the increased amperage being drawn from the batteries and motor.

6 FREE Bonuses:
1. Get Paid To Drive (2 pages) – Seven websites that are willing to pay you for driving your own car. The sponsor (advertising) companies will let you drive their new cars for free, or pay you up to $400 a month to drive your own car, just for decorating the car with their messaging.

2. Hypermiling: How to Make Your Car Go Further With Less Gas (27 pages) – Hypermiling is essentially the conscious effort of increasing the amount of gas mileage you get from your vehicle. This involves many different aspects including keeping your car in great shape, your driving behavior, and what type of vehicle you drive.

3. How To Beat A Speeding Ticket (48 pages) – This bonus book will teach you how to beat a speeding ticket along with how to avoid getting tickets by using jammers and detectors.

4. How To Make Your Own Bio-Diesel (10 pages) – Make your own biodiesel fuel from used cooking oil, fryer grease, animal fats and lard. The book shows you a few easy to find chemicals and some basic equipment that you can easily buy or make yourself.

5. Living Green: Tips for Reducing your Carbon Footprint (9 pages) – This book gives you tips that you can use to make simple but positive changes in the polluted environment.

6. No-Cost and Low-Cost Energy Saving Tips For Your Home (21 pages) – This book gives you no-cost and low-cost energy saving tips that will save you between 10% to 50% on your utility bills.
